I'm waking up at night thinking about what I'm gonna smoke next or what I'm bidding on next! Just got my Maddie sampler and I'm drooling on my keyboard wishing I was elsewhere smoking a Gurkha Doble Maduro or a 5 Vegas A or a IT SF or a Triple Ligero. But then I've got those Partagas Black Tubos~But WAIT what about that CAO Soprano that keep staring at me! And those Class Regents...............

I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only solution is to dive in completely - none of the Achilles' mother holding one ankle out of the water crap. You see how that turned out for him.

I recommend bidding on so many things that you kinda hope that you don't win 'em all cuz winning them all means building a new collerador and SOON. If you don't have a few hundred sticks that you are unlikely to get to in the course of you lifetime, you haven't jumped in far enough.

If you are truly serious, you need to have the sleeping-pillow-dor just in case you get that urge in the wee hours so that you don't have to get dressed to partake. Of course, if you live remote enough, you can just walk outside sans cloth no prob. For some of our more urban BOTL/SOTL, they have reported this behaviour as sleep-herfing when found outside with nothing to protect them but their Xikar.

Oh, and i'm completely kidding (probably......)

From #9 "If you don't have a few hundred sticks that you are unlikely to get to in the course of you lifetime, you haven't jumped in far enough."

At 55 years old it is very likely that a goodly share of my stash could outlast me. I must be an optimist as I am still buying:-)

^ if you're talking 1000 cigars in 7 months, might be time for Cigars Anonymous. However, if your cigar tab was $1,000 for 7 months, I will be more than happy to switch tabs (but not cigars).

For fear of being labeled as a "junkie", I must admit many are c-bid 'specials'. I have alot of great smokes, but many are, um, questionable...

I save all my receipts, but I've purposefully avoided tabulating all of the cigar costs. I don't think my heart could stand the strain.

^ OK - first thing is we stop bidding against each other, that should lower our costs!

My last win was a Maria Guerrero press with robustos. I really wanted the cigar press. Can't say I've enjoyed any of the cigars in the past. Any takers?

I have never incurred debt on cigars. I lost a lot of value when the personal box with the opux and CUbans was stolen but I always buy with money I already have. My financial thing is that debt is always bad, and if I have debt I have no right to but things just for fun. I also have never saved when in debt as the interest on the debt is always a larger % than the % I earn from the IRA or mutuals. Debt free and smoking a stoggie to it!
