Glad you lived Tom, but get your ass to the pharmacy asap for the antibiotic and take full course as prescribed.

If they didn't give you a script for one, make sure you follow up as soon as possible with your primary. Might get away without abx (preferable) but it needs to be watched carefully for infection given the location/conditions of the injury.

Yeah you are right. I got the antibiotics and vicodin. Works better than vodka.

Unfortunately, I have to say there was a terminal casualty. My Fuente Hemingway Classic Sungrown bit the dust.

So many divots and lumps in my sutured forearm.....looks like I sewed it up myself. I don't know much about this stuff but it seems like there should have been twice as many stitches to even it out. 13 stitches for 3.5 inch long wound. I guess I should be happy I can still move all my fingers.

Headed outside to put Barry (my pool bot) in the pool. Prolly burn a cigar while I watch him suck up the muck and leaves. So satisfying, I could watch for hours. While that's going on I'll throw a hunk of meat on the pit for later......NASCAR is in Fontana today, should be an exciting race. Hoping Bush will wreck Logano this time but still lose anyway, its time for the Hendrick's boys to shine!

Had two orders this month, one closed on the 5th, the other the 12th.

Both arrived on the 23rd...in separate boxes. The later order had a backorder, a Xikar Turrim lighter. Everything else shipped and received in good condition.

So basically, not yet totally fixed but getting there.

Well... that escalated quickly.

I went to the Fred Hall Show today. I got a Shimano Torium 20HG, and a Shimano Teramar 7' fishing rod to go with it. Couple of lures... couple of Aftco fishing shirts. A shade over 5 benji's. d'oh!

my first reaction is sticker shock ... which goes to show how old I must be gettin' ... of course, my fishing tackle is for fresh water mountain lakes and other than the really old stuff I inherited from my dad, I've had most of it since I was a teen so ...

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day
Teach a man to fish and he'll go bankrupt buying tackle.

Picked up some bug yesterday.

Boiling hot one minute, arctic chill the next.

If it wasn't for the vomit, I'd think I was going ig through menopause.

The dizziness sucks too.

Happy not-Monday. Had a follow up with my doctor about my anxiety meds. Things are going pretty well. About as well as I could have expected.
