Sad to hear.

I'll be firing up a Blanco American Legion toro in about 4 hours, at midnight, when I get off work.

Damn sad news. Rob was my official vet here years ago. I knew he was struggling but lost contact a while back.

Godspeed, IUROX my friend, pat wheel on the head and have big smoke in sky with Big Chief.

Never had much interaction with him. I didn't know he was sick. I did know he was very involved with trades, RAOK's, and welcoming noobs as a vet.

Rest in eternal peace, brother.

Heavy Heart on this one- I never met Rob but we developed a great friendship on the phone and through texts.. Did not see this one coming as he was fighting hard!! Glad he got to go on vacation and enjoy himself with his family and friends. RIP Brother Rob and I will light up a CAO Anny that you so graciously gave me.

Rest in peace, Rob. I, too, was on the receiving end of a generous RAOK from him. Too many taken too soon. Wish we had stickies...would be nice to have a sort of memorial thread for those we've known and lost from here; Foxy, Rick, Wheel, IUROX.... :( I feel I'm forgetting someone or two

With ALL due respect to Buckwheat, Chazbo, and other generous contest runners....I would bet that IUROX initiated more contests with no buy-in and only his own stash shipped as prizes....I think Rob liked giving away cigars more than smoking them.

Or Rickamaven... I'm glad I got to meet and spend time with him and Toby. Good people, despite our philosophical differences.

Actually, I think there are pics of each of them, but I'm not positive about Jeff.

Added another, Nick was also a good man and generous BOTL out in Cali...did a number of trades with him.

IIRC Rob was the first person I had dealt with while donating to the OPfth
