Beer

"Pratice BIDDING" is achieved by...
Letting your credit card "run out"
Of date...
Then putting stuff on your
"Watch list" and wait to see what the
Bid ends up at...

I must say, I'm glad I stocked up my four COOLEDORS over 2013,14, 15...

Because this site is getting

WAY WAY OVER BID BY NEWBIE MORONS

THE DAYS OF 50%-70% off mothership
RETAIL ...ARE LONG G.O.N.E.

Lighten-up NEWBIES ON THE BIDDING
and stop at 50%....
Like everybody used to do
Before 2015..

Even "the SACRED SAMPLER DEAL"
Always overlooked section is
NO SECRET ANYMORE...

You must be getting pretty comfortable, Jones. Agents have backed off?
Passing the time with the noobish activity of starting new underbid threads?
How's the manifesto coming along?

We almost had Jonsey back near the realm of normalcy, and you had to go and shake the apple cart.

I heard the SSG shadow squad is driving up prices on rockets you're perusing all while wearing jethro bodine knotted spy belts, and clicking metal cricket noisemakers. That's what I heard anyway.

4)SOLVING SOME MAJOR CRIME involving a "MAP "
5) Saving the life of a Presidential Candidate in Lancaster, PA IN 2016
6) THE FBI-SSG REALIZING THEY CAN'T KEEP THE
$MILLION+ IN CASH THEY STOLE FROM MY HUT IN 2013
7) Having an recent Ex-U.S.Attorney General make them stop harrassing me
8) BEING TOTALLY FRIGHTENED OUT OF THIER
MINDS OF MY COLLEGE BUDDY INFAMOUS LAWYER
NICKNAMED "CHOMPIN' CHARLIE" who will fry ALL THEIR AZZES
9) The upcoming "COINTELPRO II CONGRESSIONAL

10) 50+ SSG AGENTS BUYING "BUTT PLUGS" FOR THEIR UPCOMING 15-25 year stints in

I am a noob around here and have noticed a lot of stuff gets bid up to stupid dumb prices. However, there are still some good deals to be had. Don't worry I am a cheapskate and don't bid anywhere near retail.

The bid prices are now so high that I can't get a good deal on anything. Fortunately, I'm near capacity and have a couple of boxes coming in from a competitor any day now.

Everything I have won so far is 20-50% of CI prices, but then again, I don't bid on all the premiums, so that might be why...

Welcome! I was late to my job today and still haven't had coffee. Let's cut to the chase. Do you mind if we call you Lorena Bobbitt, or just Lorena for short?

You and me both. I'm full-up on good cigars I got dirt-cheap, because I saw this coming since early May 2016.

I knew when the FDA announced their crap in early May that soon prices, even at CigarBid, were going to go up, up, up! So I decided to buy massively and as quickly as possible to lay in a huge supply before enough Joe Average cigar guys got wind of the news and then slowly figured out "hey, I'd better buy a lot!" That's what we're seeing now. Joe Average cigar guy has awakened and has started to realize this, and is bidding everything up here.

There was a limited time window to buy cheaply and massively BEFORE enough Joes woke up. Sounds like that window is closed now.

Thankfully, I can just sit back and watch prices go up, and availability go down, and not have to care! Herfing

If one is flexible( not looking for the same things over and over) good deals (better than 50℅) can be found.

Any auction has the ability to induce people to competitively overbid, and I think all the noobs haven't learned about when to stop bidding. The bidding really got crazy just after the first of the year.
I remember winning some decent cigars for $ 2 ea. and the following week it would have taken $ 4 ea. to get them. The noobs haven't learned that those cigars will likely be on auction again when they can be had for less. I doubt if real noobs have any idea about cigar regulations and regulations in general are not currently popular and may be removed.

Decree usually implies that you have some authority to compel compliance... I suspect that manifesto would be a better vehicle for ....you

Makes me happy my buying here was completed by mid-December!

Some noobs surely don't know, but there's got to be some who are indeed in "acquire a lot before the crackdown" mode. How many? Nobody knows, but I suspect they'll keep increasing in number if the regulations stay in place.

Of course, but these are contingency buys in case the regulations stay in place, which is fairly likely.

Even if they're repealed, you still have a ton of great cigars already in-hand and paid for, immune from future inflation and getting more age on them daily. It's a win.

If they're NOT repealed, you have those same benefits plus a whole lot more. It's an even bigger win.

the cheap bastards ONLY offer 25 5-packs a day now down from over 100 from before. and only offer about 190 Quickies, down from over 300 before. CBid is no longer the best auction site.

Not so fast 234321543242........... Or whatever your handle is......your handle is too difficult for me.
I digress....
First, MAYBE cbid has scaled things back a bit considering the state of things presently.
Second, let's be real, there's really only 4 true auction sites.
One is a total POS.
One is still a big player...........but isn't that great.

That leaves cbid and the other good place.
They have been slugging it out for several years now for "best deals" supremacy.
They both have good deals regularly. The other place has better shipping prices, and recently, better deals on many of my favorites, and they have Padrons and a greater selection of Fuentes.
So presently, the other place seems to have the upper hand, especially given the recent cbid web "maintenance" fiasco.

But the other place also has some azzhat in charge of "pricing". He/she thinks it's funny to constantly change starting bid prices on many of the more popular cigars. Very annoying, but as I thought about it more, also very clever.
