Customer service has not answered a few inquiries that started last week. Not typical at all as they are Johnny on the spot every time before The Great Cigar Meltdown of 2017.

My buddy called today. We both had orders that were expected to ship on Thursday 16th. We both sent emails with no reply.

They said the warehouse received all orders from 2/10 to 2/16 in one shot on the 17th and are working overtime to fill them

My card was charged on the 17th, so maybe that means my order processed and shipped. Hopefully that's the case, so I'll get them and hide them before the wife gets back from out of town!! No actual contact from CBid yet.

Welcome! The noop presence is strong in this thread. I can't think of a stupider name than "Howie," so we'll let that one stand. Life has been hard enough on you, I'm sure.

I can only imagine the number of complaints CS is getting via e-mail, phone, semaphore, smoke signals, and maybe even snail mail...

This is not their fault. Whomever is running their IT department is to blame. They did an "update", it was an unmitigated disaster, but they will eventually get it straight. I'm sure the ladies in CS would appreciate your patience in this matter.

Good day.

Even though you're like a genius, and stuff........... fixing nood handles takes a professional touch.
If us azzhats could even begin to guess what the fix would be, well, then we wouldn't need a noop handle-fixer.
And my gawd, from the looks of the Class of 2017 so far..............we needs lots of handle fixin.

Welcome! So many new faces here on Cbid forums, and all in this thread!

As I'm sure you know, St. Paul's views on homosexuality are the subject of scholarly debate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_the_Apostle#Views_on_homosexuality

Given your own obviously conflicted orientation, it's probably better if we all call you Bruno.

She's gonna whip his ass anyway ... even if he successfully receives and hides the cigars prior to her return, she's gonna see the charge on the bill when it arrives ... I'm guessing it's that the problem here is no so much the cigars themselves or his smoking of them, but the fact that she hasn't authorized the expense ... if he'd just followed the system and submitted an RPO for her signature, things would prolly be OK ...

My orders were placed starting on Feb 16, All my orders should be processed daily. Spoke to customer service and they said to check back on either on Feb 24th or 27th for update, unbelievably in my mind how an IT dept could screw things up that much. They did say they would give me free shipping but I just need my cigars.

my buddy wanted to know what was going on, so he went down to the CI store in person... he said the CI sign has been replaced with one of those neon light-up signs that says "Biggest Pastie Store East of the 'Sip" and there was a midget in a tuxedo out front handing out fliers and yelling obscenities about tassels...

Stick around Saliva, the blue waffles will definitely make a man like you drool.

Good day.

Thanks Macs. Quite a storm indeed.

We shut down the web on 2/10 to basically switch internal processing systems.

The switch messed up a few things online; sizes missing, search not alphabetized, order history not updating to state the status of the orders, automated emails not being received, etc.

The IT department as well as our Warehouse has been working since 2/10 to get back on track.

More and more orders are shipping daily. The IT department is fixing issues daily.

Emails are behind, I apologize. Calls have long wait times, I apologize. We are doing our best. Many of you know this is not how CigarBid.com normally runs.

I thank you greatly for your continued patience while we get this sorted out.
