Anyone else notice that since this site had maintenance, sorts, searches no longer work correctly but most important, ring sizes and lengths are no longer in the cigar description?

Yes, it has been noted by many.
It's a mess.
Cbid knows this.
They are trying to get it right..................I hope.

Buying hiatus, unintentional but well timed.

A few years ago, CBID performed similar "maintenance" and experienced a similar outcome. They just destroyed the site. It took them about 2 weeks, but they did get everything right, so I guess patience is the watchword. I have to question, though, why they didn't implement all of their proposed changes on an off-line server first--to make sure they got it right--before launching the production site with all of the errors. Doing something like that in my company gets you fired.

A few, I suppose... I mean, it IS a cigar auction website and such.

I'm just here for the intellectual conversations. BigGrin

Yeah, and the list of brands is completely hosed.

Also, they processed my account on Sunday, though it's set for Tuesday.

Mine, too, and it would be me doing the firing.

That is weird.
When I logged into my account, using my membership code, I noticed a few lots of Padrons up for bid.
Haven't seen those in ages, so I put in a stupid lowball bid, and won a few fivers!
Guess most folks couldn't see them??

No satisfaction from cigar bid on Friday evening. I did bid on a lot# Friday 2/10/2017 , when i checked on the final bid at 9:59pm that evening I was the winning bid at $ 97 and at the time I had the cigar bid website on since 9:50 pm. At 10:02 pm the amount did not change> Went to site on Sat am to find out I was out bid at 9:58 pm for $2 more than my max bid.
Called Customer service an was not able to resolve this issue.I had no opportunity to adjust my bid when the system showed that I was the winning Bid THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED

I always bid high, never lose a bid since I was told losing is a sign of weakness.

lol, I don't even see how that happens. I mean, I would think there would be a database behind this site, and I would imagine the code for the site didn't change.

Baffling.

After thinking a bit more about this "site maintenance" issue, given that it is 2017, and not 1997, it is simply inexcusable.
Sorry, but if you're in the business of online sales, and you go offline, for a full day, only to come back to a clusterfuq mess?
That can't happen.
I love cbid, but this sort of screwup makes them look amateurish at best.

Are ring sizes and lengths ever going to be posted again. Very handy and need to be restored. Not every smoker is a cigar expert.
