I have seen a few posts where people say to leave the big cigar brands for craft brands. What are some of those brands that I should keep an eye out for? I know someone said Illusione, Tatuaje and RoMa Craft. What else?

Also, are there any specific cigars in these brands that I should stay away from because they aren't as good? Like is there a Tat that isn't very good?

I know taste is subjective, but I am just looking for opinions on this topic.

Thanks!

Most brands have a line of cigars that go from best to worst so they can use all the baccy they produce or buy. It's like asking which Chevy to buy. Corvette or Chevette makes a big difference.

Great advice, although I would replace Chevy with Ford.

Caldwell. Fuente. Casa fernandez. La Palina. Rodrigo. Leaf by Oscar.

That's a good start

big fan of Caldwell. Robert Caldwell makes some tasty cigars that tend to fit my palate.

I don't really know how big some of these makers are, but I would think that Tatuaje and Illusione would be the bigger makers I am referring to when I say craft brands. I could be totally wrong on that though. I just know people have said that craft brands are where you should focus on your attention to weed out a lot of not so great cigars.
