T, I did not realized I was called out until this morning. Sorry I missed it.
Am I totally outraged at the Gen Flynn breech/situation or whatever it is being called? No. Did I hold a security clearance and responsibility for maintaining classified material. Yes. Am I disappointed? Some. Am I being hypocritical? No. And the reason I say no to being hypocritical is that Gen Flynn’s situation is considerably different from Killary’s. And if you don’t see that then there is a realistic chance that you don’t want to see it or you are just stirring the pot.
The one thing they both have in common is they were both cleared, one by the FBI and the other by the U.S. Army. I am going out on a limb and guessing that the U.S. Army had less political influence on their outcome than the FBI did. We all know what Comey briefed on Killary but we all cannot agree on what we heard or what he said. I will save that outrage for another time.
As far as Gen Flynn the following is a quote from the article in the OP. “Although Flynn lacked authorization to share the classified material, he was not disciplined or reprimanded after the investigation concluded that he did not act "knowingly" and that "there was no actual or potential damage to national security as a result," according to Army records obtained by The Washington Post under the Freedom of Information Act.”
I personally don’t know what specific info was shared but apparently the U.S. Army did not feel it significant enough to bring charges. Also, I did not see where Gen Flynn was intentionally circumventing established procedures for personal gain.
Without me knowing more at this time there is no reason for me to waste totally good outrage. I will leave that to those that are carrying Killary’s panties around in defeat.
