I've got some CCs, including some ultra premium, and would like trade for other CCs that I am in search of. I've already been looking on the noob PIB but nothing so far. If anyone is interested, send me a message.

If there is a specific stogie anyone is looking for let me know. I can also put up Opus X as trade if that is preferred. Oh...and before anyone asks, all my cigars are legit and all the boxes I have can be verified with Habanos S.A. This is what I currently have on hand:

- Cohiba Robustos Supremos
- Montecristo A
- Cohiba Behike 52
- Montecristo Petit Edmundo
- Partagas Serie D No. 4
- Hoyo de Monterey Epicure No. 2
- Monte No. 5

I'm in search of:

- Cohiba Gran Reserva (sourced)
- Monte No 2 Gran Reserva
- Partagas Lusitania Gran Reserva
- Cohiba Sublimes
- Cohiba 1966
- Montecristo Sublimes
- Montecristo D

Looking on the NooB PIB? That's for building your trade cred, not ISOi specific ceegars.

And not sure if that list is what you have or what you're in search of?

Sorry I'm not much more help.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I updated the post with specifics. Also, it's kinda hard to build cred when i can't get a trade going on the other threads. But I will continue trying.

I'd like to get some RA Specially Selected or Bolivar Royal Coronas. I'm open to all possible options though, as long as they're totally hand made - no machine made.

Well, you know something I don't. My sources do not have available what I'm looking for. Otherwise, I would not have made the post.

I've only got maybe a single or two of BRC or RASS. Not much of robusto smoker. If someone else wants to step in thats fine, but if not and you're interested PM me and we might be able to work something out. Pretty sure I have something from almost every marca right now.

Nope. Not me. Quite frankly, even if I could, I doubt I would.

Not trying to be a jerk.....The disconnect for me is this:

From the OP:

I'm in search of:

- Cohiba Gran Reserva
- Monte No 2 Gran Reserva
- Partagas Lusitania Gran Reserva
- Cohiba Sublimes
- Cohiba 1966
- Montecristo Sublimes
- Montecristo D

Then jump ahead to post # 6:

I'd like to get some RA Specially Selected or Bolivar Royal Coronas. I'm open to all possible options though, as long as they're totally hand made - no machine made.

Seems your 'looking for' list went from super premium in the OP to everyday smokes in post #5.

Then in post # 8 you say "My sources do not have available what I'm looking for. Otherwise, I would not have made the post."

You would be hard pressed to find a 'source' that doesn't ALWAYS have RASS and BRC in stock. And the 'hand made' comment is laughable considering your OP. Not sure why the need to make a statement like that when in search of Reserva's and Sublimes....the best of the best.

Sorry but something just doesn't add up.....Not talking

What doesn't add up? So what if went from Sublimes and Reserva to Specially Selected? When I stated that my sources do not have the cigars I am looking for, i was referring to my original post. Also, there machine made CCs, and although I'm open to trade options, I do not want machine made. I don't understand what you're making a big stink about.

"What doesn't add up? "

Yo Andy, None of it adds up to me. Perhaps that's why no takers.

If your 'sources' don't' have the basics i.e. RASS and BRC, your 'sources' are questionable at best so why would anyone want to trade with you? AND, if RASS and BRC are what you're looking for, both are widely and readily available from every reputable vendor so why not just purchase them?

If it's cred you're looking for, I fear that ship has sailed...

Another newbie to this forum, Andy. I think had your words been misunderstood and you were a FOG, you would be involved in a trade at this point. That said, I'm willing to trade with a service member anytime. I spent 31 years in the military and if I lose a 5er to a Brother then so be it. My experience has been that 99% of traders are honest and plenty of good karma to go around even when you get beat.

Let me know what you're interested in and I'll send first. I have some RASS, PSD#4, Punch Punch, PL Picadores and so on.

Andy slow your roll a bit. What Scot was very politely saying is that you were offering some very nice cigars but you were looking to trade them for very expensive Unicorns.

I think you came to your senses later and changed your search to much lower priced cigars like RASS and Bolivar RC's.

Many of us here can help you with some trades and some of us including Scot have some of the Unicorns.

I would suggest an edit of your first post and expand the list of items you want in trade and I am sure you can get some trades going.

Oh, I'm not upset at all. I just didn't understand what Scott meant by "it doesn't add up." I guess I didn't state my intentions properly. Anyway, I never meant to say that my sources do not have Ramon Allones or Bolivar. I was referring to my original post - my sources do not have those. And yes, I understand that I am in search of some rare ones, is what I later posted that I am open to options.

As I stated in another thread, I just want to be part of this community. I have browsed for a few years and just recently joined so I can enjoy the hobby a little more by meeting new folks.

Thanks Pro.

Time for a re-queue now that things are a bit more clear.

No shortage of excellent and knowledgeable BOTL's here in the neighborhood. As Pro suggested, you were reaching for the stars in the OP when what you really want/need is trade cred which takes some time, here, or on any forum. Hang out, learn, trade, make friends....then, one day, the stars may be within reach.

And....Thanks for your service as well!

Was Air Force AD for five years and then 26 in the Tennessee Air National Guard. Lots of different jobs. I deployed twice and did a 2 year in place activation at the personal request of my Wing Commander to pay the deploying airmen to the desert from 2003-2005. Left a Public Accounting firm to do that Finance job in 2003 and never went back. Retired in 2012 as an E9. I use my knowledge of the military and auditing to help improve Army and Air programs in the Texas National Guard now.

Thanks for your dedicated service to the Army. I love working with soldiers!

Got my package from Andy last night and let's just say he exceeded my expectations.
Here's the damage:

Cohiba Robusto Supremos Edition Limitada for 2014 (been wanting to try but not buying a box at $60-$70 cigar)
PSD#4 from 06/14
Monte Petit Edmundo from 03/14 (nh, but I love regular Edmundo)
Monte #5 from 07/10
Gurkha Beauty Torpedo (nh)

Thank you very much Andy. Guess I can honestly say I would trade with confidence with Andy!

Good stuff guys.

Andy you've taken a couple lumps now....and you keep swinging (with class) and haven't flamed out. Don't worry about being a part of this "community" you're already doing it.

Well done fellers.

FYI. I've heard the Monte Sublimes are starting to lose their legs. Surprising to me as they're only 8 years old.
They were/are fetching premium $. Some collectors may start offering them up if the concensus is they've peaked and are headed the other way.
Was saving my last one for a special occasion. Now that special occasion may be as simple as warmer weather.....

BTW..nice first trade. Glad it worked out for both!

I have one left of the Monte and Cohiba Sublimes as well. May smoke the Monte if it's fading.

Anyone else up for a little trade....or should I start my own thread to get this out?
