Hillary isn't well enough to travel, or do a press conference for 200+ days, or trust with sensitive info......but when she's up to it, her camp will release a statement.

And if he had I'd rather it was given to Mexico than to Iran.

Drafter, true, but he loses a day of campaigning. Though if the meeting is televised it would get great viewership.

Meh... when I lived in the Philippines, I drank the local water. Took a day or two to get used to the foreign bacteria every time we returned to port, but it won't kill you.

Or he could have told them to pound sand. They need us more than we need them. Hopefully, at some point we'll elect a president more intent on preserving American sovereignty than one content being ordered around by a third world dictator.

Can't read or can't understand?

But still at issue as Obama began his second term was $400 million that Iran in the late 1970s had paid for U.S. fighter jets, while Tehran was still a U.S. ally. After it turned into an enemy in 1979, Washington was not about to deliver the jets. But, all these years later, Iran wanted its money back—and with interest.

Their money, could have been a much larger judgement against us.

All told, Tehran was asking The Hague arbitrators (comprising equal numbers of U.S., Iranian and neutral judges) for $10 billion. Fearing they might actually be awarded that much, or something like it, the Obama administration negotiated privately with Tehran, which agreed to settle for $1.7 billion. The $400 million stacked on pallets was the first installment.

Trump had his chance and he wet the bed.
Mexican President told Trump STFU, we will not pay for the wall.
Trump now says he will not scrap NAFTA, he will modify it.

Not sure why we as a sovereign nation find ourselves subject to The Hague. Many years ago The USA was considered a world leader. Seems we are now followers. I stand by my original statement.

As for the the $400 million the Pu$$y-in-Chief decided to pay, why not just wire it? Seems much easier and would have cost much less.

Pretty sure that there isn't much of an international banking system in Iran.

From Wiki:
The International Court of Justice (French: Cour internationale de justice; commonly referred to as the World Court or ICJ) is the primary judicial branch of the United Nations (UN). Seated in the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands, the court settles legal disputes submitted to it by states and provides advisory opinions on legal questions submitted to it by duly authorized international branches, agencies, and the UN General Assembly.

Pretty sure that's because they are a terrorist nation and can't be trusted. All the more reason to avoid doing business with them.

I've said my piece regarding this issue. I prefer the other Koolade flavor. Au Revoir.

Since you didn't clarify your statement one could infer that you are referring to the Iran-Contra arrangement. FWIW, I never said I agreed with what Reagan did. In fact, one of the speeches I gave in college was against that arms deal.

I get that you're way left of center, but for God's sake say something intelligent. Sounds like an argument a 4th grader would make.

In other words you have absolutely no idea how to back up your statement so you make an Ad Hominem statement.
