I'll try, but it'll be after this week-end. I'm camping and fishing up at Big Bear Lake with son and daughter and their families.

Does anyone want to take the lead this year on this, looks like we are going to be late on it.

Not this year. Maybe next, this is an honorable position.
From what I gathered and heard from Da General. This takes a good bit of time, and responsibility. Kudos to all the BOTL that helped in the past. Too many irons in the fire, so to speak.
but I will be pitching in to help, so will Hank.

Keeping track of donors, both to OPFTH and prize donors. Matching donor to prize awarder.

I shot out a pm to schmitty, and is its what mandoman had described, i have no problem doing that. i will have access to internet through saturday morning, and will then have internet while off the lake until tuesday morning and should not have any issues with tracking this.
if schmitty is cool with it, and no one else has any objections, i will steal the info from 2015 and 2016 and start a new thread shortly.

i am fine with it. was wondering if anything was going to jump up on this. Cut and pastes are good but change the paypal to: [email protected] for tracking. and check or money orders can be send direct filled out to: Operation from the Heart. " Just give" link on the website works but - does not give confirmations immediately so that gets dicey. Paypal is best for that. I only get a report at the end of the month from "just give". I get emails as donations get placed via paypal in real time. everything else (address and such) is the same.

Thanks for stepping up.

making a post and bumping it is important. keeping list of donations and prizes and eventually getting the prizes sent to the winners is critical.

include the need for APO addresses on your post. members can add or be added to the care package lists if anyone wants to have them included. we just need APO and STOP SHIP dates to add them.

everything else is just logging and tracking and distributing.

and I am here to help if needed "lurking" but not always on this forum 24/7

as always - just a PM away...

thanks again.

go gettum!
