If I had the same good luck picking the lottery numbers, everybody on the boards would be smoking Behikes !

Marlins going deep...as in way down the list...prolly need a few seasons to complete the grid.

You're right, and once again I was one of the first to get to 2 marks to go (Pirates needed 0 and 13 about a month ago) and have stalled out, just like last year with the A's.

Not sure they completed the grid last year and not sure the Pirates will either.

Congrats, JESPEAR, I heard you were low.

d'oh!
Well, you heard WRONG John, and with me winning the 13 run pool, that should put any unfounded rumors of me being low to rest.
Now go take your schitt stirring attempts elsewhere ! Chef

Can't the troops 4 still get first with Cleveland only needing a 12 and they have only played 48 games? Is it the first team to finish or the team to do it in the least amount of games? Not trying to be a dink, just wondering.

Hey Dink

Plain and SIMPLE:

"The object is to have your team score from 0 to 13 runs throughout the course of the season starting on opening day, . . . The first team to do this wins."

C+P'd from the site that posts the standings for the 13 run pool.

Winning

The first team to have every run from 0 through 13 as the final score of their games wins. Total runs scored over 14 do not help a team win.

However, if the winning team has played more games than those teams beneath them, a winner is not declared until each team has played those remaining games.

Ties are very infrequent, but should be resolved in the following priority:

Games played – the winner is the team that finished with the least amount of games played.
Date finished – the winner is the team that finished on the earliest date.
If a nearly impossible scenario presents itself and there is still a tie after using the tiebreakers above, both teams should split the win.

Not sure if Let'sRock is using these rules or his own, as this situation was not addressed, (that I could see), in the OP of this contest.
Of course, the point is moot if Cleveland doesn't score their 12 runs in the next game.

Congrats to jespear for the first place win...Indians didn't get 12 last night.

5 other teams only need one number to fill their row, so this could be done in a week or so...of course, my team, the Marlins are not one of the 5...

Wow!! I've been swamped with work for 2 weeks. Didn't know I had won. When this wraps, I would like my winnings to go to OpFtH. It's about that time of year, but I'm afraid I don't have the time to figure stuff out for them. So forgive me for taking an easy way out

Congrats to the winners, so far.

My team, Atlanta, has not recorded any double digit scores.

I'm not surprised.

Sheesh, Pirates one of the first teams to 12 marks, now looks like I'll be a "bridesmaid" again. Course having two teams (also the Brewers....) if I win 6th I guess I send myself a 5er?

That's no good, all I got is dog rockets, yard gars and stale Gurkhas.....jk, you azzhats have bombed me with palate improving smokes that are gonna bankrupt me!
