What is the Temp RH in your humi? Is it well spread out so the air can circulate in the humidor?

What do you use to light it? Butane torch, match...hopefully not a BIC

I've gone through boxes with no issues. Maybe the time in your humi/your humi is the problem.

My humidor is very basic. No temp control... Humidity is varying between 70-74...light with a butane torch...

RH way too high, even for NC's.
Try them at 62-64.

What's the temperature and humidity of the butane? Sarcasm

Does this diminish you enjoying the cigar? Don't sweat the small stuff. fog

As long as it's smoking good while tunneling, just enjoy. I do and ignore the tunneling as long as the wrapper keeps up.

It's the beetles that are tunneling. They are creating the path to get away from the heat. Freeze the cigar before you smoke it. It will create a cooler burn and the beetles will be fooled
