Those Destino Al Siglos are amazing. I only bought a handful when I got mine, wish I had bought the rest out of that box. Next time I run into some more, I'll have to pick some up.

Those and the Angel's Shares are my two favorite Fuentes.

If you love the Angels Share, I'm sure you'll love the Destino too. They have similar profiles IMO.

I know I buy Angels Share any time I see them (luckily for my bank account, it's not often).

Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 20-Year-Old($90), Black Maple Hill 16-Year-Old Small Batch($125), Elijah Craig 21-Year-Old Single Barrel($140) and the Jefferson's Presidential Select 21-Year-Old($140) is probably the best bourbon to land on my palate. Everyone's palate is different but these all got me when I had them. I wish all these were easy to get but unfortunately all hard & rare finds.

Steaky, I am blaming you for our huge cigar and bar tab last Weds. Grumpie and I had a date night Weds. Inspired by your list, we hit the Elijah 18yr for the first round. Wow! It was awesome! Then we scaled back and went with lesser pours. We had a great time and it is all your fault!

Mind me asking where abouts you purchased all that fine looking merchandise?? My company just moved me from Pennsylvania to Kentucky for another project and I've been dying to try some good Kentucky whiskey.

Back in the day I had a shpo that would stash opus and anjeo for me. I always used them as trade bait. Now I want to smoke one and have no connection. Lol

I'm not an expert but here is my list

1. Weller 12 YO
2. Wathen's Single Barrel Bourbon
3. Pappy 20 YO (better and less expensive than the 23 YO)
4. Blanton's
5. Buffalo Trace a Single Oak
6. Buffalo Trace

I had some others that I don't recall at a rare bourbon tasting that were very different and unique but it really doesn't make any difference because you can only buy these at auctions and they are outside what I could ever or would ever want to buy. Our friend that put this on spent close to $20K just for the tasting. I like both Woodford and Buffalo Trace for everyday bourbons. Generally I have a hard time remembering things when I've been drinking bourbon like my 50th birthday when we killed a bottle of Pappy 20 YO so take my recommendations (and my bragging) with a grain of salt. As with anything like this YMMV. fog

Some reason they seem a tad wet. Few were wet where they were clogged. I had to dry box for 48hrs and then smoke. Awesome when opened up.
