Are you insulting me? Not that I mind, I'm just not sure. Think

didn't know if I fell for a director's vision of prison and the carry over he painted in the courtroom scenes. Certainly much different than the big splashy trials usually seen on entertainment TV.

Was calling on your expertise...nothing but respect.

AH! I see the problem. I never mentioned that it's a show built around criminal accusation, court appearances, and jail...

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Now, when you watch the original you'll see how close to the vest they're playing with the script from overseas.

Just finished Narcos...man...I knew Escobar was a demon. I had forgotten how big a demon he was.

Fleabag on Amazon.
Funniest show I have ever seen. If you liked Peep Show, you will love this.
Only 6 episodes in Season 1.
Hope they do more.

The wife and I watched bloodline and enjoyed it but we don't have much to compare to because we haven't had regular TV for about 3 yrs. The last series I watched regularly before that was Entourage, Dexter, and Nip Tuck.

Watched the 1st couple of episodes of "Fleabag"...it's in my wheelhouse.

Showed the trailer to wifey...now I get to go back and watch them with her.

We both love Olivia Colman...stellar actress...whom was in "Peep Show" too!

Not bad, showed a lot of flash backs, to keep you aware why things were as they were.

Did wonder at time's why a few bad guys & gals weren't just eliminated, but they have to drag it on to keep the suspense going. Think

Amanda Foxy Knoxy documentary.
She got railroaded by a horrendously inept and corrupt Italian police org.

Hope their gubment paid her and her boyfriend some restitution.

Not sure if I found it because someone mentioned it here....or not...don't recall...but I do highly recommend 'Copper'... NYC Detectives towards the end of the civil war - great production, good story.....passable acting...shame its only two seasons

Finished Copper last night. I still recommend it very highly.

However, the way it ends (because of premature cancellation) is pretty deflating. Not depression-inducing like Firefly, but a travesty, nonetheless. Well worth your time. Checks a lot of blocks...period drama...cop show....lots of historical context/references....plenty of whoring and drinking....good acting...it was a bit noticeable, though, that there's few, if any, female characters that are truly likeable...goes for most of the males, too, I guess....lots of flawed folks back then :) If you like Gangs of New York, give this one a try

'Turn' -- very good, but I did have a little trouble keeping characters straight.

Amazon Prime: 'Man in the High Castle' -- Great premise and very well done -- alternative history..."What if the Axis won WWII?" Left coast is Japanese, East Coast is German and the Rockies are no-man's land....great series

Season two this week...maybe avail now.

Finished The Crown (only first season out) last night. Much better than I thought it'd be. Would be even better if you're someone interested at all in royal family stuff. Good show, but gets a little bogged down in peripheral stuff (mostly surrounding Churchill.)

I agree this series had a strong start, then it slows down.
As an adult, the new age jazz dance movement cure ending might not light your fire.
Impressive that the girl who stars in the show also helped write and produce it. Great film future for her.

Finished up 3%.

If you don't mind subtitles, it was entertaining.

I'm a big fan of Netflix exclusives in general because they allow the creators to actually create.

IMO makes for more entertaining television.
