Originally from NY, this was a sad day for NY residents with Guiliani pulling from the Senate race. The fear of having another Clinton on Capitol Hill runs shivers up and down my spine. Is there any talk of who might step into the race in place of him?

Rick Lazio is in. I think Lazio whas a great chance to beat Hillary. He is life ling New Yorker, married to a life long New Yorker, with 2 kids in new York public schools. He has beent sent back to the House 3x by the voters. On the talking head shows Sunday, they were already trying to tie him to Newt as one of his foot shoulders, but it rings hollow and is to far in the past to influence voters. He may have an ahcilles hel, but I don't know where it is. I think we're safe:)

Rick Lazio will be running against Hillary. I monitor CNN, Fox, and MSNBC; and Lazio has been getting good press. They have mentioned that he has a moderate voting record, and is not as far right as Hillary is claiming. Lazio has also cut 5 points from Hillary's lead, and he is predicted to cut that lead by 5-7 more points by weeks end.

Sounds like he has a better chance than Guiliani. Why is that? Must be because Guiliani gets a bad rap for cleaning up the crap UpChuck Schumer puts out there.

Right on! And everyone knows that Hillary is, if anything, an even bigger liar than her husband!
